Will Artificial Intelligence Surpass Human Intelligence?

Artificial Intelligence is here and now, it is in our everyday activities, from machine learning (which includes speech recognition, image recognition, medical diagnosis, prediction,and so on) to robots. Real life examples are the likes of Siri, Alexa, and Cortana. In a nutshell, we can say that artificial intelligence is an incredible breakthrough in civilization. But will artificial intelligence surpass human intelligence?

Artificial intelligence is the science of making computer systems think, act, learn, create, speak and make decisions like humans.

Human intelligence is the intellectual ability to learn, recall, and use knowledge to understand real and abstract concepts in a meaningful way.

PROPOSITION SIDE.

1) Surpasses humans in meticulous tasks:

Artificial intelligence(AI) would achieve replacing humans in repetitive, tedious tasks and laborious work places such as in industries which requires zero error, AI is adopted to eliminate costly errors. It also decreases overload of information as well as relieving us from stress.

2) Artificial intelligence compared to humans would handle information properly with accuracy and speed, there is preciseness of the output.

3) Also, employing AI capabilities will bear agressive environment that can insure or kill humans this table to carry out dangerous task. For example, it could help to predict wildfire threats and tackle climate changes.

4) AI will never get tired , bored, so they don't need to sleep, rest, take breaks, they're always productive unlike humans who requires refreshment from time-to-time, they can't take extra work with higher capacity.

5) Reasoning ability: 

AI has advantage of converting their previous learning experience into reasoning ability. In other words, it converts information into knowledge. For example, you could be filling a drum of water, in order fora robot to carry out that task, it needs to observe, analyze the task snd then immitate the task.

6) Medical application :

Another merit of AI is its extensive knowledge for medical purposes.It can stimulate medical procedure and give info on side effects that various drugs can have on time. Also, AI can help to fight against COVID-19 virus. In the area of surgery, radiosurgery in particular, AI can achieve accuracy that humans can't.

7) Domestic advantage: 

AI can run chores outside in the home, and it's possible to control them inside and outside the comfort of the house, this does not only makes life simple and more dynamic, it also helps to save money and reduced energy and water consumption.

OPPOSITION SIDE.

1) Unemployment:

The introduction of AI could displace 95% of jobs in our economy. It will hit up bumpy effect on industries. Especially, in laborious areas like manufacturing, agriculture, logistics and cause decline in manual work. This would rather skyrocket the level of unemployment to the benefit of new technologies and to the detriment of mankind.

2) AI is expensive to practice, it would cost lot of money and time to build, rebuild, repair. It is also hard to design and convey.

3) Human intelligence is a natural gift from God. Therefore, it becomes questionable if AI becomes as good as humans because it is not ethically and morally right to recreate a natural gift that human possess, it is only ethical not to accept the introduction of AI so as to prevent disastrous outcomes.

4) There will be no abstract thinking:

 The enablement of logic algorithm and complex set instructions reliefs humans from abstract thinking. Hereby, humans too dependent on AI and lose their intellectual capabilities.

5) If put in the wrong hand, it could lead to mass destruction and also it could be used to enslave humans.
